Anson B. Nixon Update

The disc golf course at Anson B. Nixon Park in Kennett Square, PA celebrates 30 years of service in 2026. To mark this milestone in our community, several long-awaited upgrades will be made to the course.

Significant Improvements

We will be replacing all short/A baskets with new, upgraded baskets, along with installing updated signage throughout the course. These improvements are made possible through a partnership between Chester County Disc Golf and the Kennett Area Park Authority, who have committed to enhancing the playing experience for current and future generations of disc golfers.

Fundraising

Our first fundraising event will take place in May, when we auction off all 19 of the current A-baskets. This will be a unique opportunity for players and supporters to own a piece of Anson B. Nixon disc golf history—perfect for a backyard practice setup or personal collection.

Anniversary Tournament

Mark your calendars for our special anniversary tournament, “Thirty Huckin’ Years,” which will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 as we celebrate three decades of disc golf at Anson B. Nixon Park.
