Mount Bradford Preserve

Published February 21, 2025

The disc golf course at Mount Bradford Preserve will soon be adding a tenth hole. Similar to existing holes at the course, the tenth hole will have one tee pad (timber and concrete pavers) and two baskets (Discatcher Pro 28 Chain Targets) in blue and gold locations. The construction of the tenth hole began approximately a year ago with clearing of invasives and understory brush from a section of mature forest that was previously inaccessible. The tenth hole is currently named Hole “5 ¾” due to its location between existing holes 5 and 6. It is located downhill from the current Hole 5. A trail leads from the base of the stairs to Hole 5’s gold basket to the tee area for the new hole. A blue basket has been in place for several months allowing players to beta test various tee pad locations and the initial fairway. Beta testing provided valuable feedback which was considered when planning the layout of the new hole, fairway improvements, and approvals from East Bradford Township. The installation of the second (gold) basket is planned for March 2025 and the tee pad to follow quickly in April or May. Additional improvements to connecting trails, the fairway, and an alternate stream crossing are ongoing and expected to be completed in 2025. A 20-hole layout will be available in UDisc soon after tee pad installation. The Mount Bradford team has also developed the first course logo, which is presented below. This illustration was inspired by an actual black and white photograph taken decades ago at the original Mount Bradford Estate. The logo will be used to help publicize an ace race style event planned for later this year at Mount Bradford Preserve. Stay tuned for more details and come check out the new course improvements soon!
