Volunteer Spotlight

Christine Johnson

As a disc golfer in the community, I felt by doing work days and helping build courses that was my way of giving back. As a non profit I knew that it is 100% dependent on volunteers within the community. Volunteering make me realize and appreciate how much hard work goes into creating and maintaining a disc golf course.
I enjoyed the time I spent on the board. I feel it was a great way to have a female voice during a lot of the behind the scenes work. It was also a very humbling experience, as it gave me insight to how much hard work really goes into keeping the league running.
