How long have you been playing disc golf and how did you find out about the sport?I started playing in high school in 2011. We would play a lot of ultimate but if we didn’t have enough people, we would go play disc golf. Me and a good friend who I played baseball with would go play with his uncles and borrow their discs until we got our own.
What’s your favorite disc?
Innova Star Wraith. It was the first distance driver I got when I gained more distance and has stuck ever since. There’s a star wraith still in my bag from 2012.
What’s your favorite course and why?
Prompton Lake. That’s where we played a lot when I was first learning. What are your 2025 season goals?
My goal this year is to play more sanctioned tournaments, to cash in MPO, and to repeat as King of CCDG. Hopefully Hoffer and Dylan aren't scared of the snow this year and I get to compete against the best of the best.

Volunteering is something I’ve done all my life for various causes. Everything from helping the Nature Conservancy in CA to assisting at Food Bank Warehouses to now donating my time at our local disc golf courses. Giving my time and energy to causes I care about feeds my soul.
For Disc Golf, it’s the price I pay to enjoy the experience of playing at our local courses. Volunteers do not necessarily have the time, they have the heart and find the time.
